The bigger and historic cities Alicante (51km.), Murcia (68km.), Elche (47km.) and Cartagena (56km.) are surely worth visiting. For the true Spain with typical villages and unripe nature, you only have to drive inland. In the direct surrounding is the famous pink salk lakes with flamingo's and outstretched lemon and orange plantations. Even boat trips, sailing, tennis, horse riding, carting, swim paradise are part of these activities in the area. Very close, about 2 minutes walk from the apartment there is a supermarket  "Mercadona". To the beach is about 700m away.
